Kick a FRESH corpse, why don'tcha?
Tony Curtis' secret daughter

Publication: Globe
Date: 25 October 2010

I expected to see a few tributes in the tabloids to Tony Curtis in the week after his passing, but no go. Consider that People had cover stories about Lena Horne, John Forsythe and Gary Coleman the week after they died. The National Enquirer had Peter Graves on the cover after he died. But Tony Curtis only rates stories in the Globe, which is clearly a secondary publication in comparison to the Enquirer. No disrespect to anyone I mentioned, but in his day Tony Curtis was a much bigger movie star than anyone else who has died so far this year.

So one more story in the Globe trashing his memory. The subheadline is "Sister he hid from Jamie Lee".

As I think I've made clear, he deserved better from the supermarket rags.

It's hard to believe his death didn't warrant more positive stories about him and his long career.
I guess too many Gen X kids work for the tabs now and don't know who the fuck he was.
Ke$ha would get more coverage.
