Jonbenet murder solved!

Publication: Globe
Date: 25 October 2010

Looking around the 'net, I have found there is a kernel of truth in all the Globe coverage of the Jonbenet Ramsey story after all these years. The police in Boulder are in the middle of a cold case investigation of her murder. That's the truth. The Globe is jumping to conclusions that the current investigation is going great guns and the case is solved and an arrest is coming up just before the last commercial break like it would be if these were TV cops.

I will say one thing. IF the case gets solved, and that's a very big if, you heard it exclusively in the Globe first. My recommendation is not to hold your breath.

I wish the media would just leave the story alone unless if and only if a suspect was arrested and set for trial.
It's such a morbid, almost perverted form of voyeurism.

It's not going away from the tabloids. I've seen the covers that hit the stands today and the story has graduated from the Globe to the Enquirer.

It's just not a credible story until it hits The Sun.

The Globe must have gotten a leak that a DNA sample from a man from Michigan is currently being tested. The Michigan State Police took a swab from a severely mentally ill man who is hospitalized in a V.A. in Detroit who's family knew Jonbenet's family. The sample was sent from Michigan to the Colorado State Crime Lab according to Boulder P.D. The sample was taken in early September of 2010.

Thanks for the information, Justice. It is unusual for a story to start in the Globe and graduate to the Enquirer, so there may be something to this. Still, a lot of cold cases get re-opened and only a few get solved.
